How your input is used
Last updated October 16, 2026
Community Pulse is a Humetriq research survey about data center development. It collects direct, structured community input: what people in a community expect, want and worry about when a data center is proposed nearby.
What we collect
- Your answers to the survey questions, including any comment you choose to write.
- Your state, county and ZIP code, so answers can be grouped by community.
- Four short “About you” answers, so we can show who is represented. Each one has a “Prefer not to say” choice.
- How long the survey took, and which link brought you here (for example, a shared link or an email). Link codes identify the link, never a person.
What we don't collect
- Your answers are stored without your name, email address, phone number or IP address.
- No visitor identification, retargeting or tracking pixels are used on this survey.
- Please leave names and contact details out of the comment box.
Preventing duplicate answers
To spot the same device answering more than once, we keep a scrambled code made from basic device settings (language, screen size and time zone). It is used only to flag possible duplicates. It is not shared and is not used to identify you.
If you give your email
At the end you can ask to receive the aggregated findings, or agree to a short follow-up conversation. That is optional. Your email is kept in a separate system from your answers and is never linked to them. It is used only for what you chose, and every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
How your answers are used
- Humetriq uses the answers as research and decision evidence, including in aggregated or de-identified form.
- Humetriq shares the aggregated findings with decision-makers, such as community leaders, local officials and data center operators, so community input reaches the people deciding where and how new infrastructure gets built.
- Your personal information will not be sold.
